Hi, This is Dr. Bill Maier with the James Dobson Family Minute.

Sibling rivalry is common in families. But can it be avoided?

Here is my colleague, Dr. James Dobson with an answer.

"By the way, speaking of sibling rivalry, you DO remember what the first murder on the record was?

Cain killed Abel, and they've been fighting ever since.

Sibling rivalry, especially a couple of boys that're together, is absolutely inevitable,
and it DOES irritate and grate on their parents.

And there are things that you can do to control it (uh) and you should.
But it's also part of the game."

The underlying source of conflict between siblings is old-fashioned jealousy and competition.

Children can be highly sensitive to how their parents see them.

One practical way to avoid sibling rivalry is not to make any comments
that compare your kids to one another.

１１月ももうすぐ終わりですね。そして今年もあと１ヶ月くらいで暮れ、新しい年がまた来ます。
今年の始めに立てた目標で未達成のものがあると少し落ち込みますが、気を取り直して
頑張るしかないですね。

一昨日の土曜日は、元「世界第２位の営業ウーマン」として有名な和田裕美さんという方の
セミナーに行ってきたのですが、彼女の「わくわく」と元気をもらってまた頑張れるポチです。

とにかく、気分の切り替え、早い決断、単純であること、などなど、色々と気付きの多いセミナー
でした。やはりパワーのある方のセミナーは、時々参加すると良いですね。
